August is a great time for a Soccer Camp to get back in the groove for the fall season. Break Away Sports Center Soccer Camps will be directed by Tom Kuehne. Coach Kuehne brings an energetic ans fun approach to coaching. Licenses include: NSCAA Director of Coaching, USSF National B and Y coach and USSF Fitness coach. Plus Coach Kuehne has over 20 years of coaching, leadership and teaching experience in the Madison area.

INDOOR CAMPS
Break Away's indoor facility offers a great learning / teaching environment with a great surface, lots of goals, a comfortable viewing area for parents, bathrooms, as well as safe from weather concerns. Only Break Away's indoor facility can provide this quality experience.

Camp #1: Aug 9-12, 9:30-10:30am Fee: $55
Eager Kickers (6-8 yrs old) -
An energetic 4 day - one hour/day program for the youngest players. The camp emphasizes fun with a ball, creative activities, small-sided games.

Camp #3: Aug 16-19, 9-11:00am Fee: $95
Youth Recreational Camp (8-12 yrs old) -
A challenging 4 day program with excellent coach to player ratios. The camp's emphasis is on skill mastery, small-sided games and scrimmage play.

Camp #4: Aug 16-19, 9-11:00am Fee: $95
Girls Youth Camp (9-12 yrs old) -
This 4 day camp is specifically organized to promote positive development for players looking for a girl's emphasis environment. This camp is designed for recreational and young competitive level players.

OUTDOOR CAMPS
The competitive camp will be held outdoors at Cherokee Middle School to give a more authentic soccer environment for the older players. Camp may switch to Break Away's indoor facility if weather conditions dictate - another benefit only Break Away can provide.

Camp #2: Aug 9-13, 9-11:30am Fee: $155
Competitive Camp -
This 5 day camp is for serious soccer players primarily focused on technical and introductory tactics - with an emphasis on beating opponents, shooting to score, and defensive principles. Meriter Sports Medicine will provide their expertise with a fitness component including agility ladders, balance exercises and foot speed work, along with injury prevention, and nutrition information. In addition, Friday is a game day at Break Away. Campers will integrate their newly refined skills in a Scramble style competition. During the Scramble Meriter Sports Medicine will be leading a presentation for the parents on young athlete development.
