The goalie is one of the most important positions on a soccer team. Unfortunately many times the goalie gets the least amount of attention for development. Break Away Sports has a long tradition and deep interest in developing goalies. Either through the suggestion of a coach or by the interest in the goalie and their parents wanting to learn more about the goalie position, many goalies have relied on the expertise at Break Away Sports to become a quicker, stronger and more confident goalie. Below are a couple of programs set aside specifically for goalies.

These goalie trainings are geared to improve goalie technical skills. Each week will cover a topic of technical skills including ball handling, dives, crosses and breakaways. Then into games with live action. Limited space These trainings have limited enrollment for better individual coaching feedback. Led by Matt Lombardino. Fee: $120

| Personalized Private Lessons |
This session can be personalized for players just learning the basic techniques of goalkeeping or for those in the upper skill level looking to improve on advanced or specialized skills and positional training.
The instructor uses a variety of progressions and equipment to help the player develop goalies skills. They include:
- Breakdown & understand the sequence of movement of specific techniques.
- Learn how to get better power & increase their range for making saves.
- Train specific techniques on their own.
- Learn 6 general guidelines that a goalie incorporates on most shots.
Many goalies have taken a series of these private lessons to continue to improve on their skills for making saves for a variety of shots and game conditions.
